Building Comp...need advice

Hey Guys,

I'm building a comp mainly for gaming. I'm trying to budget everything and have decided to spend more on vid card and less on cpu. However, what do you think about duo v. quad and the speeds associated with them? I think I have it down to these two processors....

Which one you guys think....or should I change altogether?

Dual Core is the best rite now on the market (excluding Intel Extreme Processor) It has the best features and it gives you amazing performance. I have Intel Quad Core and it is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!

Between those two the Q6600.

What? What you've just said contradicts itself...
 
If you are trying to decide between the two that you have listed, definately go with the quad. It gives you way better performance than the duo. You could also overclock it to give you max performance.

Quad would be the best from the two...
