That power supply will fail upon testing...

Get a Q6600 G0 from ClubIT...

And a 8800GT... or else that CPU is crap...

And that memory fan is crap also...

And onboard can be used...

And $30 memory doesn't sound good to me...

And there's no case...

And a P35-DS3L...

I'd suggest a whole redo... budget?

under 700$
Sorry, im a computer building virgin, i have no idea whats good

Can i get somthing good with a Directx 10 card in it? That kinda the whole reason im upgrading in the first place...

:) Sure, you live in the US correct?

And you're going to use this for...

ya, us of a BABY!

Combo gaming (HL2, COD4, Crysis...the works) and playing my guitar. I have a keyboard and mous, and a monitor, so we don't need that. Im gonna install vista for the direct x 10, if that changes anything...

Yes, it will :P You save like $100 with a O/S. I'll get started :P

No problem ;)

512MB is not needed. Look at the 8800GTX or 8800 Ultra..

512MB cannot be used... if you ever find a 8600GT with 512MB, it won't be better than a 8600GT with 256MB. If the 8800GTS can only utilizte 320MB and still have great performance, I doubt a 8800 320 or any higher card will need more than 512 or so... (not counting the ultra/GTX)

Well, thanks, this should be all i need.

Just for the sake of estimation, how good is this system? How would crysis run?
