Building first computer

I am once again planning on building a computer. A couple of years ago I had the same idea, but due to life changes that never happened. So this will be my first build. I am still pretty much illiterate when it comes to computers, but am interested in building rather than buying a gaming rig.

I will use it mainly for gaming and, secondarily, work. Anyway I have updated by parts list. I was wondering if all these parts would work together. My budget is $1500.

It's not out yet, it's the new Broadwell-based CPU. It's going to push your budget higher as the motherboard and RAM are more expensive.

8GB of RAM is considered low for a high end PC these days, I'd look at 16GB.
