Building first pc need help.

I need a new computer and i want to build my own. I don't have much knowledge about computers so need some help. Here's the parts i came up with.

Any suggestions on CD/DVD drives/Burners, power supplies, cases, and heatsinks/fans. Feel free to make any suggestions.

Power Supply? I would get at least a 750w...I like a little extra power:D

Another option is to look at other Western Digital hard drives. The Green Series have all this power saving crap built into it that decreases performance. You might want to look at the Black Series...much better performance and will use only a slight bit more power. You might save a few dollars a year with the Green Series, but is it really worth it for the performance hit.

them cases aren't too bad, though i like a side window :P

750W psu, i agree with scout.

any dvd burner will do. try to make sure its SATA, and make sure you have enough sata cables. if needed an extra sata cable will cost you around $3 plus shipping.
 
Thanks for the replies. Yeah Didn't realize the harddrive was an energy save model, i will change it to the black series. So how is this build looking?Will it be a nice gaming machine?
 
If you don't need blu-ray right now I personally would just wait until they come down in price more before getting one.
