Asus has a terrible RMA service, and don't spend that much on a board. Get a Gigabyte UD3H. A I7 isn't needed at all for gaming, get a i5 3570K. Get a 2 TB for not much more. And with the saved money, to get a VERY awesome setup, go with 660 Ti or 7950 CHF/SLI, depending on the res of the monitor?
 
minus the harddrives, theres no difference, the best buy is a retail, which includes cables and a box, and the newegg is a OEM which just includes a drive in a antistatic bag. buying from newegg would be cheaper, id only suggest best buy if you need it NOW and can pick up at the store.

Which Hard Drive would be better overall though, and Best Buy would be the better choice to buy the Processor and Ram?

Yes the UD3H will work with the i7 3770K and any other LGA 1155 i7. An i5 will last you a while, so if you don't want to spend the extra on the i7 it will be great. :)

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer

You mean Newegg is a Distribution Channel? Unless Newegg actually makes those cables and stuff like you mentioned.
 
They are a retailer, but sell items that are in OEM packaging. Also the ASUS hate has to stop. I had worse dealings with gigabyte with graphics cards but you don't see me b1tching about it.

Agreed. I have used quite a few ASUS boards and never had a problem. I'm using one now in my machine and it's great, and I'm using one in my C2Q rig and although it's clearly a low-end board, it does the job. The P7 I had in my main rig before I upgraded to a P8 was one of my favourite boards. :)

I have the money to pay for the i7, is the i5 better than the i7?
Which one would you pick if you had the money?

I picked out another board since he said that the ASUS Board isn't good, which one would be the better choice?

Okay, sounds good, so I think I have the the stuff chosen for my computer, still deciding on the motherboard because of the opinion on the ASUS Motherboard.

Also, what motherboard would be better, I like the ASUS, but someone said it isnt good. And money isn't a problem, so there are these two:

All looks good. The ASUS is a better board than that Gigabyte, it's a higher-end board.

You don't need an 850W PSU unless you're maybe looking to get another one of those 7970s in the future.

I would still recommend the NZXT Phantom over the HAF 932.

It's probably best to buy one from website too - Newegg.
 
Yea. then you will get all your parts at relatively the same time, newegg is pretty good about shipping things, though sometimes harddrives get banged around.

Are you saying I should get a more powerful PSU, or what?

I looked at the NZXT Phantom details, and it seems like the computer case I picked out had a lot more to it.
 
No I'm saying you don't need 850W unless you want two or more video cards in the future.
