Building Gaming PC - Help?

Asus freakin suck. I have had 2 board fail in 1 year and RMA is simply not worth the pain.

Thats unfortunate, i had one gpu fan fail on me, and a card die due to being newegg'd off my porch. otherwise they have been very good to me. Gigabyte on the otherhand has given me a rma process where a customers 9500GT failed, rmaed, they said it was good, flashed it, sent it back died 1 day later. then i had to go through it again. does it mean gigabyte is crap rma? or does it mean i just got unlucky? Thats up to you to decide. I stick with Asus from now on, have not had a card fail due to their construction methods.

Though curious, what products failed on you? Ive seen all my friends buy into the whole 8800GT snafoo, which every 8800 ever made is doomed to fail due to nvidia's negligence.

All off newegg. went to Geeksquad and they helped me come up with all those. Opinion?

It's a pretty good build but you could save money on the PSU by going for something like a Corsair CX 600 or an OCZ ZS 650 (will be fine for a 660 Ti) and then put more money into the board and get a GA-Z77X-D3H and maybe even get a slightly better case too. The Tempest looks OK, but there are better cases out there.

I hope that i5 3570 has a "k"at the end of the number and u didnt bother typying it in.... And if u have micro centre near u,they sell that same cpu for 189.99 xD although its pick up...

Edit
i thought i5 works better with ram frequency of 1600mhz or is that wrong...

i dont know much about computers anymore. its been awhile. So why do i need a K?...and what i was gonna do is go to abunch of different computer shops around town. Get a quote and ask them what they would do with 1200 then go to the next shop and see what they think of the the last shops parts and quote. Hopefully get a all around concencus of whats good.

I wouldn't show each shop what the last provided until you have all quotes. Then you play each off of one another.
