building hardcore gameing pc,recomendations

i am building a new pc need recomendations for parts. this will be my first real hard core pc i can spend around $2200 maxxxxx

this is what i'd do, and then on the 9th you can grab a HD7970, or it might come out there a few days later but early next month, for around 600 i guess, it's 550 usd and stuff is a little more over there

also i left the dvd drive to you

if you want a different case just say so, but i'd look at nzxt, cooler master, corsair, and lian li
