I am retrofitting an antique stereo into an mp3 jukebox. The system I have in mind will only have bare bones necessities.
Here is the minimum I think I will need:
about 600 gig capacity (can be an accumulation of multiple drives)
lo-res graphics
at least one usb port
very small monitor
mouse
keyboard
Since I am gutting the old components, I'll custom build a box, no case needed.
As far as an MOB, I have no preference, just the bare minimum for my requirements. It will never be used for anything else. I would like to use a Windows OS so I can set up the media on another faster machine and add to it. I would love to find out Windows makes an OS that eliminates all the other junk I don't need too (we all know how Bill likes to make you buy more than we need, kind of like the cable company). I've got plenty of power sources too.
Any ideas?
