Building mITX PC - Need Help/Advice

Hello Everyone,

I was thinking about building something small and not as expensive and also low power consumption. I want to install server 2008/2012 on it. Something I can use to play around with and learn from. I currently have some parts gathered together but I am not sure if I am going on the right track with the correct parts.

VMWare is definitely +1 from here, got the full Workstation and it's great!
But if he has the funds, I would personally also prefer to have it completely separated when running "high end" server software.
It's also common to use Hyper-V to make more virtual desktops in Windows Server, which I'm interested in if it would work within a VMWare VM :D
