Hi everyone! I'm in the process of building my first computer (which is quite expensive).
I need help confirming that the pieces are compatible.

Here are the parts:

MB: GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
Graphics Card Sapphire 6870
HD Western Digital Caviar Black WD1002FAEX 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB)

DVD: SH-B123L
Power Supply: GX-750W
Wireless Adapter: ASUS PCE-N13 Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g/n PCI Express Up to 300Mbps

Cooling Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus

Fans COOLER MASTER R4-S2S-124K-GP 120mm Case Fan

Thermal Paste Arctic Silver 5

TOTAL = 1072 Euros

I need to be sure that they all work together. Could you share your opinion on the parts, in particular the CPU and the Graphics card. Could u also suggest any better parts i could buy at that price if you have time?

Thanks!

go for an am3+ mobo, i think that might be but i don't wanna look it up :P, what brand is that psu, and don't forget the os, everyone forgets the os.

Yep it is an AM3+ compatible motherboard.
I havn't yet decided the OS, although I think I will be going with windows 7.

P.S. thanks for the interest!

what brand is the psu? and if there are any for a similar price i'd go for the 990fx chipset instead of 890, just the newer and better one of the 2, idk if any of the other 900 series chipsets are better, but i know the 990fx should be.

The only Gigabyte GA 890FXA UD5 board that is AM3+ is Rev 3.1. And I guess the GX 750W your talking about is a Cooler Master. Go for a Antec/Corsair/XFX/Seasonic/PC P&C/Silverstone. And you can usually get G Skill memory that has better timing or voltage then Kingston for close to the same price.
