Hi, i dont know much about computers but i want to build my own so i can get a quality computer for a good price. I read a bunch of info on the internet about different parts and what they do and this is the computer i came up with.

video card- http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16814150316

cpu- http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16819103272

power supply- http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16817139005

hard drive- http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16822136073

memory- http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16820145184

dvd burner- http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16827135156

case- http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16811146025

Just wanted to get some feedback/advice on this because im not even sure if the parts will all work together. Also how hard is it to actually put a new computer together? I will be using this computer mostly for playing games and am spending around 1200$ and that includes monitor, keyboard and mouse.

Thank you for your time

Everything looks great except your mother board supports DDR2 1066 ram and the ram you currently have is DDR 2 800, which is slower. Try to find some DDR2 1066 ram instead and you should be good to go!

You should stick with the memory you already had picked out-this is from the MSI product page for your motherboards-"Supports Dual Channel DDR2 800/1066(only for AM2+) DDR2 SDRAM "-which means the the AM2 socket processor is only supported for the DDR2 800 memory and that you would need a AM2+ or phenom to run the 1066.

do you think it would be able to play a game like Crysis?

Probably on medium to low settings and that's about it. However, it should play all other games on medium to high. Crysis should be used as a bench mark, not an end all, be all.

Dang I didn't see that the cpu was just an AM2. Yea then just stick with the DDR2 800 then.
