i wouldn't get an 8600 its beaten by some of the 7 series cards which are cheaper, id pay a bit extra for an 8800gts or wait a little while for when the 89xx cards come out because the 8800's will drop in price

It looks good to me, i think the power supply would be fine because i believe the 8600 doesnt demand alot of power. I have that memory and so far its realy good stuff, i have it running at 920Mhz

I'm getting a case with a PSU because all the good cases without a PSU are really expensive. So I'm going to get a good case with a PSU and replace it with one that I'm buying.

I have a LG Super-Multi disk drive and it's an earlier model, but it has an annoying feature to it. It spins down when not being read from, so when installing an OS it will take some time as it spins down, then spins back up to speed and the spins down again when you go through settings in menus like on which partition to install etc. It can be quite annoying. Hope that one doesn't have the same issues.
