Building my Own. Need Help.

Ok i am willing to spend a max of about $1300 for mainly just the Processor, Graphics card, RAM, Motherboard, and hopefully a few things like powersupply and case etc. (but the last 2 arent mandatory)
Is this enough to build a BEAST computer? lol
Could anyone here build me a computer on newegg.com (and pm the list of the parts) or sumtin for about $1300 that would be amazing? (o and i really need and want a 512mb graphics card)
So far on the AMD side i have this picked out. (i think all i want is an AMD setup) O and u can change anything on this list excpet the Graphics card.
This is just a list of stuff i thought was good.

1. ABIT ATB 32X Socket 939 ATI Crossfire Radeon XPRESS 3200 ATX AMD Motherboard

2. Powercolor 1900XT 512mb GDDR3 PCI Express X16 Video Card

3. Corsair XMS2 2gb (2 x 1gb) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM 800 (PC2 6400) Unbuffured Dual Channel System

4. AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800 Manchester 2000 MHz HT Socket 939 Dual Core Processor

I dont want to change the graphics card really because i basically want to be able to play a game like Battlefield 2 and also be on the Internet on the other screen (so a 2 screen setup) So if soemone can build me a system that can do that with NO Problem WHATSOEVER that would be greatly appreaciated.
I also might want liquid cooling in the near future so i will deal with andy overheating issue on my own. And dont worry about the monitors (i dont need them) Just a complete Modem setup would be great. Again, Budget for the whole modem setup is $1300. I dont want the games to lag or be glitchy and i want the game to load very fast. And for the Ram if u can find me a better one that would be great. But i want atleast 2gb's and prefferably from XMS Company. If u can get one at 1066mhz without going over $1300 in total. Thats awesome otherwise 800mhz is fine. Thanks everyone for your time. I no u probably have better things to be doing. :)

i personally don't like abit motherboards that much, i trust ASUS more\
but the one you have chosen looks good,
perfect choice of ram, cpu! video card is fine too depends on how much you are paying for it though
i prefer nvidia, but only an opinon,

well, if you are building a computer by yourself for the first time, with may be someone's help, you won't save money...
instead i am sure you will end up spending a lot of money

for example, keyboard and mouse can cost alot, + speakers+monitor(s)+extra cooling components (fans mainly)+quiet psu($100 or more) +cool case(at least $60)

those stuff can bother you some times, also softwares! window(operating system+other programs including microsoft stuff)

good luck though, its fun building a computer.

I dont think the 512 cards are werth the buying yet.. unless you are doing stuff liek Cad... my 256 card will handle almost anything I throw at it, games, video editing.. and I run duals

Hehe, evidentally you haven't maxed out Oblivion yet:). The X1900XT is a superb video card.

Don't cheap out on the power supply. You'll want to spend close to $100 at least to power a system like that.

you dont even use the full 156mb in games yet, a 512mb is pointless.

The best way to do it would be to get two cards and run them in SLI.(they could even btoh be 256MB cards to get up to your 512MB that you want)

For your explaination more regular RAM would be needed then VRAM

Indeed it is.

Then how come I push 300+ VRam in a game like Oblivion? ;)

The memory is mirrored, so such a config will not give you 512, only 256.

Obviously.
