I have never built a computer before and this is what i have come up with. Trying to stay under 650. I still need a video card so if you can help me out it would be great. Or if you know of any other options to switch out like motherboard etc. that would be great.

looks like a nice build... do you need a dvd drive or are you using your old one?

a good card to stay in your budget would be a 9800gt

You didnt realy say what you intend to do with the pc,so i didnt give it a Super Super gfx card but 4650 is quite a good card for the price, and after all you could change it to what you want if you choose not to go with a 4650 :good:

Dont get the 9600, its the first series Phenom with the TLB bug and doesnt overclock well. Stick with a 50 series. The X3 8750BE is a better processor for around the same price. Or if you want to go with a AM3 the X3 710 or X3 720BE.

If your going to be using a ATI video card and not onboard video, this is a better board.

No, its not hard, the first time can be alittle nerve racking. But there is plenty of people here to help.

I added a board at the bottom.

i will have to learn how to over clock and setup the bios and stuff lol.

and does the motherboard support am3?

Yeah its better. The 9800GTX+ and the GTS 250 is really the same card. Updated the name and only has one PCIe 6 pin power connector, instead of two. But I think some of the later 9800GTX+ only had one too.

Yes it supports AM3 processors.

It would cost around 40/50 bucks more for a AM3 board and DDR3 memory.
