I am thinking about getting:

- i series 1156 processor havent decided which one yet
- 8GB 4 X 2GB Mushkin Silverline DDR3 1333mhz RAM
- EVGA P55 LE Motherboard
- Cougar 700W modular power supply
- Using my current 1TB 7200rpm Seagate

All this would cost me under $300 without the CPU.

I still need a case... thinking HAF? :P

Hmm. 4GB of 1600mhz will be better if you're gaming. Never heard of 'Cougar' branded power supplies.

Everything else is okay. HAF 912/922 are good cases, the former is like $60 + shipping from www.newegg.com

1333mhz is $48 and 1600mhz is $70 :( is it really that big of a difference?

cougar seems new to me on newegg. they have good reviews + 15% off right + good combo with my motherboard right now so...

Corgar is owned by HEC (Junk). Reviews seem to be ok. Looks like HEC trying to make a (half) decent power supply. I would go with a good Silverstone/Corsair/XFX or Seasonic.

Only 10 bucks more.
