Need a good PSU - 1000W?

I wouldn't bother with the sound card. You can always add it later, and ithey are pretty cheap. Onboard sound might be satisfactory. I have the same board, and its good enough for me.

There are two cases. How come?

Get VISTA 64 BIT O/S and at least 4G of ram.

Some surround sound speakers 7.1

Personally, I'ld get 2 kick-ass graphics cards in SLI, cuz the board doesn't support Crossfile.

What are you building this thing for?
lol . . . im guessing internet surfing and a little bit of word

GAMING!!!GAMING!!!

i like the build that scout posted, bit i have a couple of questions
1. what resolution is are you going to be gaming at
2. Do you have a budget
3. are you planning on overclocking
4. What os are you planning to run (i recommend 64bit and 4gb of RAM)

I only ask these questions to make the build moor suitable to your needs
