Building new machine.. Intel or Ryzen??

Personally I'm leaning Ryzen at this point. Little cheaper, not paying for onboard graphics, decent cooler included, I think the die is a little larger which helps with cooling, and I think AMD's record is better for socket longevity. If money is no object then intel.

Depends what you're doing, they're pretty on parity these days although this year will supposedly have the last release on the AM4 socket.

If you have a Microcenter nearby they have some deals on the 2600x/2700x for $80/$140 with a $20 motherboard combo discount.

What kind of budget are you rolling for this ish?
