Building New PC......Help Please.

Ok, well first off i am using this computer for everday use and Gaming. I am using Newegg.ca(canada) so the prices are a bit different from what most you americans see on the site.

my budget = 1000(taxes included)

1)AMD PhenomII X2 550 black edition Callisto 3.1Ghz Socket AM3 80w Dual-Core Processor Model HDZ550WFGIBOX Retail. - $119

2)Cooler Master Mystique RC-632-KKN1-GP Black Aluminum/ SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer CAse-Retail - $79.49

3)Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W ATX12V v2.01 SLI Ready Power Supply - Retail - $79.99

4)Gigabyte GA-MA 770T-UD3P AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD MotherBoard - Retail - $99.99

5)XFX HD 487A-ZHFC Radeon HD 4870 1 GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0x16 HDCP Ready Crossfire supported Video Card - Retail - $158.59

6) G.Skill 4GB(2x2gb) 240-pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR# 1333(pc2 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL8D-4GBHK - $87.49

7)Western Caviar black WD6401AALS 640GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - OEM - $79.99

So the total in canadian dollars after shipping and taxes is = $871.35
keep in mind that i will have to buy windows vista as well for about $130.

I know this is not the best gaming desktop but will it get the job done well? can i play all of the new games and what not? I'm running a Pentium 4 right now.

i wouldnt get the Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600W because they are bad get a CORSAIR just do get anything with the name rosewill dont make the mistake i did lol
