Building new PC ?

I am almost done installing and connecting everything.
Does the hard drive need to be formated before I install, or can I have Windows Xp on it ?

The power supply has a small switch that says either 115v or 230v ?
On which one do I put it on ?

I am building an AMD 1.9 Ghz 3600 PC with Abit Mobo etc...

you dont need to touch it if you are in the u.s.a. and you bought it in the u.s.

hdd should be formatted first. xp cd will do it for you during setup.
 
So the xp cd will format the drive for you before installing? or the drive is ready on arrival? ....i was about to ask that same question, i have never actually done a fresh install of xp with a new hdd before, shocking :P
