Building new rig, Ned your advice!

Ok so im new to this, and have been researching on what to pick, so I built this on newegg a few minutes ago and need your advice if i'm missing something, doing an overkill, or parts don't go together.

Im building this 100% for gaming like for BFBC2, COD, and newer releases coming soon like BFBC3. Some video editing/rendering.

good choice on the GPU and RAM.
Since your into gaming, it would be better for you to wait for the rerelease of SB and go for a 2600k. It will kick a 6 core around the block, so it should handle your gaming needs just fine. It also has an unlocked multiplier so its easier to overclock.
with SB comes a new board also, but we will have to wait to see what will fit your needs there.

And since the socket 1366 has a tripple channel memory controller for optimum performance you will need either 3GB or 6GBs of RAM.

Well It won't be just for gaming. I'm going to run AutoCad on it so I can work some projects on it as well, if that makes any difference but yes I'd like to run games on max smooth.

Sorry, but what do you mean by microcenter? And is the PCU outdated by the one you post?

So 4GB of ram won't do the job? I plan on getting another 4GB of ram in a week from the purchase date.

Oh and I'm having doubts with the GPU will that run all games on max? Im considering on getting a gtx if it won't. And will crossfire in the future.

I am not so sure about the PSU since I read a lot of people posting on the forum that the new corsair PSUs are not that great so you should stick to the one you chose.

If you plan on getting a RAM later get only 2GB more.
You should have 3 sticks of 2GB RAM.That would be enough no need to have 8GB.6Gb RAM is more than enough.and make sure you have only 3 sticks of whatever you buy.
Microcenter is a store where the processor you are buying is only for 200$ but you have to pick it up from there they dont ship.

if one them is close by dont waste the extra 100 bucks

Ok thanks for clearing that up.

For the GPU would that be good to run all games on max smooth like bfbc2 and the new one to be released?

Is the PSU I chose enough to crossfire?

and as for crossfire yes you will be able to crossfire it in that PSU.But I would never recomending crossfiring better to sell this card when needed and get a new more powerful card
 
The card is great, but a 650w won't be able to push two of them if you're still considering that down the line. My GTX 570 fits (Although only with about 1/2 inch clearance :P) into my $40 mid-tower case, so you should be fine.
 
The GPU you were going with the 6950 would be just fine.
And you can also crossfire it later.(though i wont recomend that)
But go for High performance memory from the links i gave you.XMS3 is mainstream memory.
