Building on a budget, HELP!

Is this what you already bought?
CPU: i5-3570K
PSU: XFX 650W 53A Single Rail
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD 6850
Mobo: Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
RAM: 8Gb of Mushkin Radioactive 1600 Mhz 9 Cas
HDD: Wesatern Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB
OS: Windows 7 Home 64 bit
CPU Heatsink: Corsair H60 Liquid Cooling
Also for case I chose the Zalman Z9 Plus

Or you get this motherboard?
I can pick up a Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z Gen3, Asus website says its compatible with the i5-3570K since a certain Bios.

I don't know off hand which/what motheboard(s), but I do know It's possible that it could require a Sandy Bridge chip in order to do the "Sandy Bridge to Ivy Bridge" BIOS update. So look into that first.

If you wanted to, It would be easier to post links to each part. Newegg is good even if you didn't buy it from there. You could even edit the links into the 1st post for easy reference :)

I decided to just say screw it and seeing as I'm over budget already I may as well just keep going :P I'm purchasing the Mobo and Ram tonight. Everything else has already been bought.

I'm only debating one thing right now. Should I get the ASUS Maximus V Gene motherboard or should I get a cheaper motherboard (Something around $100) and buy another HD 6850 and do a crossfire set up? If I do decide to go crossfire, is it possible to buy a slightly better card and sue that as my main and my current HD 6850 as my lesser used card? For example a 6870 as my main and a 6850 as the other card? If I do that, would my PSU be bale to handle it? The XFX one I listed earlier.

Well I ended up going with a bit cheaper motherboard, and I got a mail in rebate with it so it only cost $149.99, I got the MSI Z77A-GD55. With the mail in rebate I was able to pick up a small SSD on sale too! I got the OCZ Agility 3 60gb, all I really wanna store on it is my OS and SC2 so I'm not worried about size :) For those curious for RAM I got the Corsair Vengence Blue 8Gb 1600MHz because it was on sale as well.

Cheers :D
