lol i have 4 cores and my was on 1 ive changed it to 4 will this make my pc faster ?

linkin's instruction applies to the cores used at boot time to get loaded up. By setting the boot preference to more than 1 core allows Windows to use more than 1 core to boot if it needs it.
The number of cores used by the system at bootup or any other time, is determined by the amount of cores the system has available to it and how much individual core use it needs.

Not to change the subject but I don't understand this. You guys are talking about how many cores it uses during boot. To me, it looks like how many processors it will use. The box that you check for this says "number of processors", not cores. Am I missing something? Does it actually mean cores?
