Like it will turn on and everything but nothing shows up on the monitor, like there is no signal being put through.... what does that mean?

Hmm. This happened to me when I had video set to integrated in BIOS and had a dedicated card installed. No video through integrated or dedicated card. I guess it confuses the BIOS.

its not an integrated motherboard

when i turn it on everything sounds like its working, fans HD, Cd drive, just no picture comes up

It could be the monitor. It could also be the video cable. Do you have another monitor to test?

im using the monitor right now lol i only have one monitor and one cable

do you think it could be the graphics card? cuz the graphics card came with the motherboard and cpu

it could be the video card. Test it in another computer, if you can. If not, try the following.

Take out the video card.

Hook up the monitor to the integrated graphics.

Turn on computer.

let us know what happened.
