built in video card thingy

do some mobos have like built in vid cards that actually work as vid cards, this is what i ordered (still been waiting for shippment) http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdetails.asp?model=tforce+6100-939 ehh it says NVIDIA GeForce 6100 GPU...does this mean i dont need a video card to run the system (at least till i can afford a better vid card )...im not all that bright in the mobo section so please help

Yes, its intergrated and you dont need a video card to run it, they just useally arn't as good as a normal card.

Yes, it'll work. You can also upgrade it in the future, but it'll go well for now.

The only problem with on board video is the quality and heat. I would upgrade. A good thing about that board is the fact is has a PCI express x 16 slot so you can upgrade to more top of the line graphic card, and the board can take dual core processors.

another thing about onboard video is that its much more ram intensive, plus it sucks up cycles. your cpu would thank you for getting a video card, and you would notice a difference, but it will still work fine without one.
