Burn Aware Free help

I have Burn Aware Free and you can burn CDs Audio CDs
and it says DVDs

Does it mean you can burn Data to a DVD or make a DVD from a video file?

I'm not familiar with Burn Aware, so I suggested programs, which I know, work.
