Burning CD's???

The model number and options when purchased would help in seeing if a cd-r/rw or dvd burner was included with the model. If included you should have seen a burning program included with the software package that comes with the laptop.

Lots of times (at least in my case on all my computers) if you open up windows explorer and scroll to your cd drive, it will say something like CD-RW drive or something like that;)

Generally going through Windows Explorer or MyComputer you will see the drive letter designated for that drive only. The disk management tool found in the control panel>administrative tools>computer management>storage will show all drives and the types installed on the system. The easy to use freeware you simply create a desktop shortcut for will show literally "everything" on a system. You can download that from http://www.softpedia.com/progClean/SIW-System-Info--Build-Clean-15757.html
