Burning Problem

i need to burn some pics onto a dvd, and i cant get it to work. every time i try to send the pics to the dvd to be burned, it says there is an error while trying to copy. i tried on my computer a few times, put them on my external drive and went and tried my bro's computer. still didnt work. i also tried a few different brands of dvd's. anyone know what is wrong? i really need to get these pics to the people, it is of their wedding.
 
never mind, i got it figured out. i used my external hard drive to transport them, and it put the folder on read only, and i didnt know that.
 
scratch what i just said. it wont change. it still says that it is read only. i also tried using deepburner, and it wont let me select pics as a whole.
