is there any DVD and CD burning programs out there? i've had a DVD burner installed in my GX110 since last summer, and still never tryed it 2 brun anything lol.

Well, i like a few.
Nero has a good quality, and it is very fast.
Sonic Record Now has an awsome quality, but it takes very long to burn (it verifies)
I think NTI sucks. its spee dis ok, but quality, no way.

Nero is very simple to use, espically for CDs and DVDs, Sonic Record now is quite easy too, but a little more complicated then Nero. NTI is in the middle.

So, which one i recomend? Well, if you will be able to leave your PC alone while it is burning, Get Sonic record now. If you are kinda in a hurry, well, use Nero.

Nero is pretty much the standard. If you don't like the technical side of things Nero Express is part of Nero and is comparable to the foolproof products like Roxio/Sonic. A lot of burning programs are bundled into video editing packages like MyDVD etc. Nero is purely a burning application although it now includes Nero Vision, a dvd authoring app.

Nero is not cheap so if you want to play around with video and/or dvds, then products such as Sonic MyDVD, Ulead VideoStudio, Pinnacle Studio etc may be better value for money. They can also do audio, data and backup dvds (and cds) like Nero.

There is freeware available but not all in one application and nowhere as easy to use as the commercial packages.
