Business Laptop - $1200-$1500 CDN

Hi everyone,

Ive been researching the crap out of laptops the last few days and feel like I have a firm grasp on what Im looking for now. The machine will be used for work exclusively - no gaming or crazy rendering. Email, browsing, google docs and some light photoshop work will be the bulk of the work done on this machine. The reason Im looking for advice is that I'd prefer a machine with as little bloatware and as much battery life as possible - what's out there?

Ive had ASUS laptops in the past which were okay but still seemed to come with a bunch of unneeded software and battery life was lacking.

Here's the Wishlist:
14"+ screen
2 Display ports - would like to run 2 additional monitors
8 hours + battery
Skylake CPU?
Very little bloatware
Around $1,500

Thoughts? Am I dreaming?

Let me know!

PC

Thanks!!!

You are likely not gonna find a laptop with 2x Display ports.

I'll recommend getting a laptop that supports a docking station. Then you can have both your monitors and peripherals like a mouse connected to that instead of clutter your laptop with cables.
It also makes it fast and easy to take your laptop with you when you need it somewhere else.

Most Lenovo and Dell laptops has that feature. You will have to buy the dockstation separat though, but it's worth it in my opinion.

This. You'll want to look at the Dell Latitude and Lenovo Thinkpad line. Just choose a few models as close to your budget as possible and narrow them down.

Im a bit embarrassed to admit it, but I had no idea this was a thing.

Now to find a machine that offers the tech I want AND the ability to dock.

Thanks everyone.
