Hey, I've just registered here but im planning on buying a new PC from scratch and putting it together myslef. Im gonna spend around £600 - £700 on everything so If anyone cud help me on selecting the correct parts wud b great thanks : D

I have got ideas of what i need but not what may work on what motherboard or what is compatable with what so any help would be excellent thanks, plus im gonna save the money for summer next year, so plenty of time :P

It would b ideal if it included quad core processor, 1gb graphics (OR to soemthing else equivenlant) and I dont really want it to drop below 19" moniter if possible.

Thank you!

What are you planning on using the computer for???
Where would you be purchasing the computer parts from???
What OS are you going to put onto the computer?? And is that included in the build budget???

Thanks,

Cohen :)

For what are you going to use the computer? Are you designer - programmer - marketer - accountant? Do you like games and you would like to play a lot? depending for what are you going to use, you build it.
For example, if you are an Internet marketer you need a very fast Internet connection, so a computer that flies on Internet and in network. You do not need a great sound card or video card. You need a great network card - wireless preferable so you could use your computer everywhere. So for what are you going to use your computer?

ahh yeh sorry ppl, im a core gamer so id love a gaming pc, so good graphics n processor would be needed, and ill b buying the parts from Ebuyer ( www.ebuyer.com ). The OS will be Vista and any from home premium upwards, but ill b excluding the OS for now. (That's why i put £600 - £700 for any extra like the OS).

Thanks :)
