Buying a fan used?

I want to buy a new fan for my case, and I have an Amazon gift card, so I was thinking about buying fans there, but they're all terribly overpriced, so I was wondering what you people thought about buying a fan used off of Amazon.

Yeah it's that. I ended up finding one new. For $9.04 shipped (only had $9.06 left on the card).

That's the fan I ended up getting. For less than half of Newegg's price.

Looks good, just keep in mind that it uses sleeve bearing, so you can't mount it horizontally, and shouldn't mount it near any heat sources.

I'm fine on both of those.
I'm mounting it as an intake on the very front of my case, where it shouldn't get very hot at all.
