I was looking to buy this laptop can anyone give me some comments on it....tell me if its worth the money and how will it run.....

I am assuming this are really the only specs you would need to tell if its any good or not.....Thanks in advance.....

Dell Studio 17 $1,369
Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 Processor
4GB Shared dual Channel DDR2 Memory
320GB SATA Hard Drive

Too Much $$

Next time you Ask this question remember to tell us what you want to do with the computer.

with the specs you gave me, i can tell it is worth the money... if your going to do video editing, 3D gaming and mass producing software. If you are doing that okay get it.

But if you are like most of us out there, you mainly want Internet, Email, and basic word, and power point. Maybe even some basic Video editing and watching movies. I personally would not pay anything over 700 for any laptop. mainly because you will never use 80% of anything that the 1000$+ laptops come with.

Remember, you need at least 2GB, 120GB HD, a 15.4 In Screen, CD/DVD Burner, Built in wireless, more that 2 USB ports... Damn Macs.... and an Ethernet port for wired internet at hotels. The screen and Ethernet are options that just are nice to have.:D

Ignore the above post.

Personally i don't recommend a dell..... i would find something else, but depends on the use of the laptop and budget.

Well, if he is looking into doing some gaming, he may want to look at something more powerful. My laptop in my sig was $1500, and I have to say, I use it a lot and a lot of it, but it also comes down to personal preference.

I will be using it for internet and e-mail and things like that and some gaming but it is supposed to be for me to bring to school....I just wanted to know if it would be fast and if it was worth the money for whats in it.....

Ya not a huge dell fan myself but I am kinda tight on my and have credit with them so I will be able to get the computer now instead of having to save up.....

I have owned three dells and they were great. I still have one of my dells that is four years old and it runs as good as my new laptop. You can't beat the studio on price. I want to get one just for the 640 GB HDD.
