Buying a Laptop

I currently have a Packard Bell (Cringe) laptop. Intel Celeron (Cringe) with 256mb ram (32 graphics) It is not a reliable laptop.

I just want some feed bac on what type of laptop i should get. I am goging to be using it for college, eg C++ or Javascripting.

Mostly multi-tasking. I have £550

RAM?

CPU?

SCREEN?

It must have built-in wireless or a PCI slot.
