So my ISP said I need to buy a new modem because it's dropping my connection and sometimes gives me really high ping with 5mbps download and a .50ish upload. Can only one point me to a decent modem? So far I found this.

Yes I have 4 computers connected to a router.

This has solid reviews, and I personally believe in Motorola. You can't really go wrong with a modem in my opinion. I'm against Netgear for a lot of things router and wireless adapter related, so I won't be recommending them today

I'm looking for a ADSL modem not a cable modem. Sorry should of listed that I needed a ADSL modem.

Good point! and some of the isp also provides their own modem and so you can ask them to replace it anytime if its damaged or not working.
