buying a new cpu, help...

Hi, Im thinking in getting new cpu for my computer, I have an Intel 1.8ghz dual core 2 duo, and thinking in getting a 3.16 ghz dc2d, now my problem is this the 1.8 runs at 1066 fsb and the 3.16 at 1333 fsb, the mobo will support 1066/800/533 MHz FSB, so my question is would it make much difference ??? help...

ok, this is wierd, this mobo supports quad core cpu's, wich run at 1333 ghz. fsb. More confusing to me... :confused: :o

Which revision you've got? At later revision, you could support more CPU with BIOS flash
Check Gigabyte offical website, they would tell you which CPU the mobo support
