Buying a new laptop

ok, in this case, the i5 is a better choice. The turbo will aid in a speed intensive app. The GPU will take load off of the CPU, and keep it cooler.

I dont think your allowed to have OS X on a PC. (Though if your are allowed, Id love to put it on my lappy.)

Gotcha. And I can't say anything about it. Google.

yea...unless your doing any gaming...integrated chip + i5 = ideal, if you can shop for the best battery you can get with the machine, what would be the seller for me.

So I basically need to decide if I am gaming, and that decides integrated?

if you game, the dedicated GPU will be needed.
but that is not really the only thing that you need to look at. If you use any Graphics intensive programs, such as photoshop or any CAD programs, you will need a dedicated card. Also, a dedicated card can help in other things also, even CPU intensive things can benefit from a dedicated card thanks to Directcompute.

iTunes or just the UI of my OS's are the most graphic intensive thing.
