Difference is just the video card. Matter of preference really. On an Apple I'd just get the cheaper one, not like you'll be gaming on it or anything.

A lot of people will tell you to stay away, but the truth is there's really nothing wrong with an Apple, I use a MacBook as my day to day laptop around school and love it. I have a custom built PC in my room for anything the mac won't run. As long as you know what you're getting as far as some minor compatibility issues ect. go for it.

Hey, yea the proc. are the same speed. Cool, I was thinking about getting it and thn installing leopard on it in October and being able to run both windows and OS X at the same time and windows, like you said, for anything the mac wont run itself. Its got a pretty good video card and its a shame cause all these great games aren't mac compatible but if I installed leopard would I be able to run them?

Refurbished mac's are basically as good as new. When they refurbish them they check everything is working, replacing the parts that don't. all refurbs also get brand new cases so you dont have to worry about scratches.

Awesome, that was another question i forgot to ask about the cases. Thanks so much guys for all the help it really is appriciated. Now i just gotta figure out if dropping close to $2000- for the notebook and the warranty is a good idea right now.

I have one similar to the second one you posted.
I love it, best notebook I ever used.
And apple is great if you have a problem they help as quickly as possible.
It's diffrent than windows but its easy to use hope you like it
