buying an old school USB controller

im looking for a controller like the old SNES gamepad that works through a USB port... im trying to play a game on zsnes emulator (i have a physical copy of the game so it is legal) and was wondering how well you think it would work. anyone know of a good controller to use?

I know there's an adapter that lets you use your Ol' snes controller on a USB port,

But of a USB SNEZ controller, I have no knowledge.. (If you google around, you could get lucky)

The USB controllers at Wal-Mart seem to work fine for me, I've tried 2 different brands and they both work fine.
