Hey guys, this is the list for my final setup.

I know I don't have CPU there, I'm not buying that from newegg. I'm buying an AMD athlon 64 3500+ venice. i've also already bought my ram- 1gb (2x512) dual channel.

let me know what you guys think of my setup (compatibility?)

EDIT: Also, for HDD's, I'm pulling my 60gb and 160gb out of this comp (my 160gb isn't listed below)

I had it shared....it worked before when I was showing it to someone. Well, anyway, I've changed it.

As for compatibility, it is fine, and will work fine for pretty much everything, just maybe not very high-end games on high.

And my PIII is working just fine for me.

looks good to me, will be a marked improvement on the dell your currently using and im sure your gonna be pretty happy with it.

As most people have said here, you should be able to run pretty much all the games around at the moment, maybe not on the highest detail but good enough to make em playable

But bro you just cant leave your psu like that

You gotta pull something out of your ass some cash

You cant buy a psu for 36 bucks just crazy to do your system will not hold for long

When i go out to eat lunch that is how much i spend for food
Buy at least a psu for 80 bucks

I researched the PSU a lot...and i've read the reviews....it's stable on the rails, it's 500W and dual +12V with 20A on each. its cheap partly cause its an unknown brand.

Dont listen to him...

I have that same exact power supply, it is very good. it does have two +12V Rails @ 20A each, but it says it has a max combined power of 29A, so im not sure. In either case, it is a very good budget PSU.

PS: The first review (excellent for the money)you see their is mine :P

Lol, okay. But I was very uncertain about this psu before adding it to my 'list,' so i imed my sister's bf (who is a computer engineering major at Northeastern University- a very handy guy to have around :) ) and he said that 'they have ways of making it 20A on each but 29A in total.' well, anyway, 29A isn't anything terrible, especially for $37.

thats true...nice setup i would get a bigger hard drive but thats just me cause of my "personal" storage...

yeah i def could use some more storage, but i think 220gb (160gb + 60gb) should be fine until i have the money to buy a 16mb cache sata hard drive.

That's the nature of dual rails, and it's quite nice for the marketing department!

There's nothing wrong with that PSU, your requirements aren't terribly high. For the money, i'd rather get an XCLIO 450BL. Aside from being produced by Channelwell (the same company that makes Antec PSUs), it performs exceptionally well when tested.
