buying computer primarily for gaming

I am completely clueless about building computers. And to be honest I am a very very indecisive human being so if it's possible if someone could narrow it down to just a few great choices that would be awesome.

Ok. What's your budget though?

In all honesty it's not that difficult to build a computer (so I've heard, haven't done mine yet). As long as you're careful, read the manuals and sticky at the top of this section, you should be fine.

But obviously your choice. :)

Another note is building is quite a bit cheaper if you are willing to spend more than 500.

just look at these 2 threads, building is much cheaper generally, and will get much higher quality parts and more room for upgrades, and it is extremely easy, i did a complete breakdown clean and reassembley in 30 mins with no knowledge of wtf i was doing (before i got on this site, it's what got me interested in this stuff), i just felt like it one day, and had no probs at all
