I am looking to buy a gaming desktop, with a $1500 budget. I dont want to put the computer together. I am thinking IBUYPOWER will be good. I noticed they have a 5% off and free shipping on their Intel rig from thier weekly specials. Please help. Thank you. I do not need a mouse/keyboard/monitor

ya i just looked on newegg and that is by far the best one that you can get, so go with that one if you're gonna get a prebuilt

I went to the Cyberpower website and I tried to put the same parts together and it turned out to be a cheeper price. Please let me know if this is the same. The one I put together came to $1469.00 with free shipping.

Also I will probably go with a smaller Hard driver 1TB is overkill IMO

Looks about the same although The one I posted has 2x500GB HDDs in RAID and I wold prefer Gigabyte over Biostar as far as the motherboard.

I agree. Gigabyte makes better quality motherboards over Biostar. The NewEgg system is better out of the two options available so far.

yeah its pretty hard to beat newegg, i have done quite a lot of research concerning price, performance and quality and basically have just bought most of my computer stuff of newegg. It always pays to shop around!

it all depends on your abilities, if u could build a computer you get better performance for less but if not just buy one off newegg or somewhere

What about this mother board over the gigabyte?

MOTHERBOARD: Asus P5Q Pro Intel P45 CrossFire Chipset LGA775 FSB1600 DDR2/800 Mainboard w/GbLAN, USB2.0, IEEE1394, & 7.1Audio

LOL, iBuyPower is crap. Often PPL report screws missing/lose. Also, try posting this in the computer equip. sales section.

ok so is this any different then the one from new egg? I can get this for about 150$ less because of the free shipping and 5% discount. Is there anything better for about the same price? That setup is about $1535.00

Why not just make one

You could just go ahead and buy one, but for 1500 dollars you could buy the hardware and software, and just have someone quickly assemble it (for a nominal fee), or just assemble it, it isnt difficult (when i was 12 I assembled my first pc). If you buy the parts seperately and assemble it, you will get much greater value and have a better system for the money.

Ok, I think i am going to try and buy the parts and have someone put it together for me. I am going to do some more research then i will post the build that i am thinking of getting for any suggestions. Thanks
