Can you take a picture of your motherboard?

Heres a diagram.

What are your computer specs? if its a pre-built (ie: HP / comaq / Dell) you may need to replace your power supply, and you would need to be sure the case is big enough.

Hm, you may want to look into an 8800GT or a single slot card.

And maybe a new Power Supply, whats your current one?

And are you using that card thats below the black slot?

Hm, find a card that your not using, like the card below the TV card, and remove that and put the TV card there. So you have more space for the Graphic Card.

I tried researching your computer, but couldn't find the Power Supply.

well lol that is my network adapter but is the very bottom one all i see in the back of my case is a ethernet port that says line do i need that

If you want to upgrade you graphics card, you'll need a new PSU. The psu should set you back ~$80 for good but in-expensive unit..

Can you open it and tell us what the wattage is?

Chances are its not going to be powerful enough to power any 8800 card :(

well (according to a wattage chart) i can use the 8600 gt

i hope it can run most games.
the games i really want at max settings are medieval II and sims 2. what games do u think this card can handle at max?

and also do i need a PCI soft data fax modem with smartCP? i cant imagine ever using it
