hi all i am buying a new custom built computer from the local pc shop
here are the specs:

Intel Core 2 duo E6850 (3.0Ghz x 2) : cpu
2GB corsair 800mhz : ram
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 or Asus P5N32-E SLI : mother board
Gigabyte geforce 8800GT 512mb : graphics card
Corsair HX 520w : PSU
Wndows Vista Home Premium 64-bit : OS
500Gb : HDD
Coolermaster CM 690 : case

all assembled together for around $1400-$1500
do you guys think i am getting a good deal?

also which motherboard do you think i should get?
both boards support the new 45nm cpu's coming out
the asus board supports SLI and i know i am a nvidia gamer but the Gigabyte board uses the P35 chipset and i know this has great perfomance

so do you guys think the nforce 680i chipset or the intel P35 chipset

and one last thing, will this machine last me for a few years on high specification on games with minor upgrades on ram and maybe graphics card

help would be much apprieciated, btw i am only 15 so getting more money will prove to be difficult.

I'd say it's a big rip. 1.4k should get you a minimum of a Q6600 G0, 4GB, P35-DS3L, OCZ GameXStream 700W, and a Antec 900...

$1300 for this list of hardware and OS w/o shipping and Mail-in rebate.

Get the P35 board. the 680i chipset DO NOT support new 45nm C2Q CPU
