Hello.
I kind a need help with my new PC im planing to buy...PC is going to look smth like this:

cpu: Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz
graphics: 2x Asus GeForce 8 Series EN8800GTX 768MB
motherboard: MSI P6N Diamond nForce 680i SLI
HDD: 500gb
PSU: EPSILON FX700-GLN 700W
Case: Aerocool Zero Degree Black
Ram: 2x Kingston 2GB 800MHZ DDR2 LL CL4 DIMM NVIDIA SLI-R

i would like to know if that PSU is enough or is it too much?:).....does those rams and CPU fit with that motherboard...and is that CPU enough for those graphic cards.

I'm 95% sure that PSU will be enough . . . But that 5% can be a b!˛# when it burns up your GTX's, so don't take my word for it.

First of all, welcome to Computer Forum. Don't forget to check the rules. :)

I personally have not heard of the PSU you listed so I cannot really say whether it is a good one. What I would do for PSU is stick with named brand like Corsair, OCZ, PC Power & Cooling.

Btw, what is your budget for the whole build? Do you need an OS?
Because I don't see OS listed in your list.

As for the RAM, depending on whether you have 32-bit or 64-bit OS, you might need to change that. Since 32-bit OS can only recognize up to ~3.12GB of RAM.

Also, what is this computer gonna be used as? I am assuming it's gaming since its 2 GTX.

ye this computer is going to be for gaming..mainly....i made some changes and now PC looks smth like this:

ASUS P5N32-E SLI PLUS
2x Asus GeForce 8 Series EN8800GTX 768MB
Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz
Zalmantech cooler Fatal1ty FS-C77 (for CPU)
Aerocool Zero Degree Black
Western Digital Caviar WD7500AAKS 750GB
PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750W
2x Kingston 2GB 800MHZ DDR2 LL CL4 DIMM NVIDIA SLI-R

and i dont need OS:)

I'd save your money and only buy one video card and apply that money not spent into something better for your system like a better display or additional hard drive space, etc

Drop that and get a x38 or a 680i... P35 is also available...

Get a single Ultra... EVGA preferably..

And ClubIT's Q6600 G0 version...

And a Zalman 97000... With Arctic Silver 5...

And Newegg's or Securemart's Antec 900 or P180...

And a OCZ GameXStream 700W is the best bang for the buck...

2GB and a Ultra don't work out for me. It's 4GB and a GTX in my opinion then...

Look for Patriot's Extreme RAM, their around $40 after rebates. CL4 too.

You're all smoking rocks. The G92 8800 GTS is coming out in December. You could sli those; however, you can't sli with the x38 chipset and the 680i chipset won't accept the Intel's 45 cpus. I would go with the P35 chipset and a single G92 GTS and 4 gb of ram. Which ram? I would suggest Crucial Ballistix, Corsair, A-DATA, OCZ, G.Skill, etc. Why would you buy a Q6600 now when you could get a Yorkfield in January? Also if you plan on OCing I suggest the Thermalright Ultra Extreme or a Tuniq Tower 120.

1) We don't know how the performance of it is, nor the price.

2) If you read, I said you could run one card, or two. I offered 2 choices.

3) He never said anything about 45nm CPU's. Only the Q6600, which isn't.

4) A Data? Seriously? I'm pretty sure half of yall threw me off of A Data RAM... now yall are supporting it?
