Buying new system or building one?

im not saying im for sure buying a dell but Im just looking at all my options here. I asked them why they dont have the 8800 and they told me its in testing stage right now and it should be ready in couple of months. That does suck though that they dont offer the 8800.
I went to the apple store and man I was close to buying there top of the line macpro with a 23 and 20 inch lcd's. I just couldnt do it though Im not sure why, guess I was scared I wouldnt like it and after dumping 5500 I would be extremely upset. Damn I dunno what I should do, maybe nothing and just keep what I have until something new comes out. Its not like my system is lacking right now.

drop 3 grand max, u get like a 30% performance increase for like 200% of the cash -.- seems stupid to me, u could just make like a new build every 6 months... which would def keep up with the times better

i still do not get at all why you need a new computer, but whatever. i mean 3k can be used for so much more but thats just me

i hope you like it, keep us posted

I dont NEED a new computer I want a new one :)

That one looks nice, I have no clue on what all the specs mean or what brand I should go with?? I always thought Sony was the way to go, but maybe thats not the case anymore.

i dont know that much either, just the 1080p, DLP is the way to go and Toshiba is an excellent name

you can even hook your PC up to it.

The size difference doesnt look right and Im a anal kinda guy lol.
I guess I can return it for another 24" but thought I would offer it here first.

I have an Acer and was looking to get another...I was wanting one to match mine, which has black edges. You would be better off to send it back to NewEgg . But what the heck.....Would you take $150 shipped? I wouldn't if I were you but I figured I'd try! :)
