Buying on Sunday? Double Check, Take a peek

looks great but if i were you id ditch the Ultra and wait for the new cards, or if you dont want to wait just grab the cheapest GTX

Also P190 is a great case ive seen it in person, but do you need that much power? lol

Meh, I'd rather have an Ultra. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping I can use EVGA's step-up program.

Do I need that much power now? No, but it's the only full size tower case that I like till the Antec 1200 is released. I could probably run the PC of just the one 650 watt.

gotta love your build... if it weren't so expensive i would've bought the same case
just 2 thoughts if your planning on spending so much money:
- get a wd raptor 10k rpm (i would buy a second hd like a 500gb 7200rpm)
- and i would check out the scythe infinity cpu cooler.

i've been using the cooler for a couple of months now and i just love it.
it's pretty much unhearable even at full speed (tested it with my fan controller)
it keep my e6420 in idle down to 28 degrees at the lowest speed.
and you can add 3 more fans to it

10k rpm hard drive rather seems pointless as I think I would hardly see a difference? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I will probably get Hitachi Desktar 7k1000 as a 2nd hdd.

Why a scythe infinity? Tuniq Towers generally show better performance in benchmarks.

well the bottleneck in your pc really is the hd and using a 10k rpm hd really helps speeding up loading lots of things. i would buy it if they weren't so noisy...

and the tuniq tower is a bit to noisy for me has a very fast fan on it...
which brings me to another point. the standard fan equipped with the scythe if slow and very quite. you could always install a faster better cooling fan. or more if you want to (you do need to buy the extra brackets for it they don't come standard with it). So eventually i think they're pretty evenly matched and i just like the looks of my infinity more.

Hmm, I'll pass on the Scythe. I like "noisy" fans. As far as the Raptor? I can't see it making that big of difference in load times. I'm undecided but I'll consider it.

Ultra w/o the Raptor? :P As an owner, I think you would notice a difference. It's not all about superior benchmarking - as some have been led to believe. The only way to know is to try it out. If you don't like it, I'll buy it from ya. :D

If interested, click here for a chart I posted on another thread. It compares the Raptor to a 7200 RPM WD.
