Buying parts from a US seller on ebay...

Is this risky?
I've heard there may be hidden costs; VAT etc?

Im starting to build a computer from scratch and found a good deal on ebay.

CPU combo on ebay

1) Is this actually a good deal?
2) Is it risky to buy from USA seller for delivery in UK?

Thanks for the quick reply. When you say 'Other than the shipping cost', does this mean that there may be hidden costs, or is the 'P&P' price they quote on their ebay page everything? i.e. if they say the product costs £180 and the P&P is £20, is there any chance you will be paying anymore than £200? Sorry to be pedantic.

yes, but you wont find a skt A motherboard with pci-e easily.



well, it says theres no VAT so i think thats that question sorted. send him a message asking if he know if customs will charge anything. this is the biggest bitch when ordering abroad
