Buzzing noise from any computer

Hey folks. I am completely new in here.

I bought a laptop yesterday. A Compaq A900 if that helps?

I have a little question to you guys in here. That buzzing noise when a computer is thinking or working, where does that come from? Is it something you can disable because that noise is quite loud on this computer and it annoys me alot actually. The noise is on any computer, so I just want to know what creates that buzzing noise or if it can be reduced?

That is the hard drive spinning really fast, can't do anything about it....

Yea it's the hard drive, but if the laptop is new it shouldn't really be all that loud. You might want to contact support if the noise is really noticeable.

5000 kr. danish. I wanted a 17" screen and a full keyboard.. 5000 kr. is about 1053 dollars. It used to cost 6000 kr. 1264 dollars.
