by pass block sites- help!

hey i really need help on by passing blocked websites. i go to a boarding school (therefore i cant go home and go on the internet) where a lot of sites are blocked and i need help to by pass them. i looked for proxies but i have no idea how to use them. i use mozilla firefos and i really need to go to these blocked sites because some sites that are blocked, i need to go to because of my job. does anyone out there who can help me on this one. itll really be appericated! thank you

Well if they are vlocked by your school, you cant really do anything about it. If your in a densly populated area, try picking up someones wireless signal...

there was this post back then from a user who operates a site that lets u get into blocked websites, i dont know if the thread is still up or anything, if u can search for it, or if someone knows which one it is... maybe that'll help you out.
