bypass guid ban?

Anyone know how to?
I somehow got banned on CoD4 by punkbuster years ago, never cheated in it or anything else, yet they refused to lift the ban when I appealed it a couple months ago.

It wasn't a huge issue as there were plenty of servers that didnt enforce all PB bans but since I've reinstalled it I've been limited to almost nothing but mod servers and handful of other servers. The only problem with the other servers is that they're all 24/map servers and I'm sick of playing the same 2 maps. I'd like to keep playing cod, but it's boring playing the same maps over and over and over.

Is there anyway to change your GUID to bypass punkbuster?

No. They purposely make it so hackers (not sure if you did or not but thats irrelevant...) can't unban themselves.

You can pick up a copy of the game for under $15 I would suspect.

Nope your stuffed,Same thing happned to my COD4...i didnt hack or anything,I Never would... and i got a GUID ban....Punkbuster did not want to know.

The only thing you can do now is purchase a new CD Key im afraid.

I purchased a new key and it works fine.

Wish I'd known that years ago.
Thought buying a new copy would bypass it but I was told otherwise by a few people.

The only time it wouldn't work is if a specific server IP banned you, but PB don't associate with IP bans, just GUID bans, IP are specific to the server
